The Duluth Rowing Club had 11 winners and more than 30 finishes of third place or better in its home regatta, which took place on Superior Bay on Saturday.
Duluth finished with 435 points in the event, which included nearly 300 rowers from Minnesota, Michigan and Illinois competing in 37 different events.
DRC claimed victories in the junior men’s double (Nathaniel Bateman and Asher Josephson), open men’s single (Colin Schembri), masters men’s double (69 and over) (Tom Rauschenfels and Gregory Peterson), open women’s four with cox (Beatrice Javaherian, Jayva Jordan, Summer Harlow, Hannah Mason, Nia Kramer), masters women’s single (Madison Koch), mixed masters quad (Gregory Peterson, Jenny Peterson, Bonnie Fuller-Kask, Tom Rauschenfels), open women’s eight (Bria Kask, Lorraine Turner, Hannah Mason, Andrea Rosenberg, Amanda Marks, Kelsey Benson, Jessica Boehland, Kirsten Rhude, Emily Wells), junior men’s four with cox (Sophia Consie, Graham Carlson, August Capps, Aidan Hoeschen Ehrbright, Roland Struckman), masters men’s single (Colin Schembri), masters women’s double (under age 46) (Madison Koch and Caitlin Wotruba) and open men’s four with cox (Beatrice Javaherian, Nia Kramer, Torin Peterson, Sam Peyer, Gabriel Javaherian).
